DIIS conference: evaluating post-2014 Afghanistan

DIIS convenes conference on development, security and a national political settlement
In a collaborate effort, DIIS and the Danish Foreign Ministry, convene a 360 degree conference on the prospects and challenges for state building in Afghanistan after 2014. The conference pulls together high-level Afghan and Danish ministers, including the Afghan Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Wais Barmak and the Governor of the Helmand Province, Mohammad Naim Baluch.
Also leading Afghanistan experts will be participating, including Candace Rondeaux, Thomas Ruttig and Ahmed Rashid. For the full program, press here.
